Tyson blends his passion for research and evaluation with his expertise of project management, data collection and analysis. He has honed his craft through experiences in philanthropies, nonprofit organizations, and academic research settings. A strategic thinker with a passion for equitable outcomes, Tyson is always keen to contribute insights and drive impactful change in evaluations. Outside work, he enjoys cycling, cooking, and watching F1 motorsport.



With an aptitude for effective social impact and community-centered interventions, Tyson complements The Improve Group’s work bringing strong strategic support, evaluation research and data analysis skills especially participatory learning approaches in data collection, analysis, and data management.

International projects

Tyson has also developed and implemented evaluation and learning strategies for grant-funded international development projects targeting pregnant women and consulted for the Effective States and Inclusive Development (ESID) to evaluate the implementation of social assistance programs.

Published research

Tyson has published a working paper examining how resources can be mobilized to mitigate social disparities among vulnerable populations. He has also presented research to evaluate gaps in the financing of disability-inclusive social protection programs.
