Many grantseekers know that an evaluation can be a powerful tool, both for creating compelling grant proposals and providing sound reporting. This fun and interactive session will provide participants with a framework for thinking about and including evaluation “at the front end” of the proposal process and using it for reporting at the end of the grant period.

Learning objectives for this session:

  • What to include in an evaluation plan for your grant proposal
  • How to set up evaluation so you can report on your program
  • How to use evaluation to track outcomes and indicate where to improve

Pre-work for this session: Please bring a grant proposal you are working on or that you have submitted. Participants will dig into these real-life examples throughout the session. Please note that we will be using the Minnesota Common Grant format for this exercise.

Fees: $50 for MCN members / $75 for nonmembers
