Isabel joined The Improve Group to work on various projects to grow her skills as an evaluator. She brings a passion for exploring creative ways to solve problems, and for working on interdisciplinary teams—indeed, she has worked for universities, community organizations, and government agencies. This has included research positions in her home country of Colombia; site visits for a Tanzanian education organization; and evaluation support to nonprofits here in the Twin Cities. From her experience carrying out internal evaluation activities with the University of Minnesota Extension’s Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships, Isabel developed a passion for data visualization and for increasing awareness about implicit bias. She is excited to bring all of this varied experience to projects at The Improve Group.
